Try the New Editor’s Choice tab.

In the PG Editor’s Choice tab in EventLab was sorted by the number of times a course was played. This meant that new picks would be relegated to the bottom of the list. Now, the PG Editor’s Choice tab is sorted by recency, so the most recent courses chosen by the team will appear first.

This change will also mean that events will no longer be removed from the list, but rather we’re now able to continually showcase more and more of your creations and bring back some of our favorites.

To make their return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans after six years of absence, BMW created the most efficient engine they have ever created and trapped it to the first M8 car ever made. The result was an endurance powerhouse racer named the 2018 BMW #1 M Motorsport M8 GTE.

The M8 GTE used a BMW TwinPower Turbo Technology engine restricted to 4 liters by regulations, however this remarkable engine could produce 592 bhp. Over 700 pieces fitted into the engine came from other BMW Motorsport projects.

This car finished 5th in the 2018-2019 FIA World Endurance Championships and came in second in the 2020 IMSA SportsCar Championship results.

2015 Cadillac #3 Cadillac Racing ATS-V.R

Taking the staff from the CTS-V.R Coupe, the 2015 Cadillac #3 Cadillac Racing ATS-V.R rushes in and takes the position as Cadillac's GT3 specialist.

The ATS-V.R was fitted with a racing version of the LF4 3.6L twin-turbo V6, but what sets it apart from its commercial counterpart are the twin BorgWarner turbochargers, engine management, and intercoolers with larger capacity; those tweaks and upgrades produce 600 bhp

Completing the fit and finish, the ATS-V.R got a body kit upgrade including new fenders, front bumper, a massive wing, and an under tray.

2020 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing C8.R

Lined up on the grid as Chevrolet’s latest endurance competitor, the 2020 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing C8.R is a former champion who is getting used to sitting on the podium.

The C8.R (racing version of the traditional mid-engine Corvette) started its path to glory in the 2020 24 Hours of Daytona during which it finished 4th in its class. The C8.R was eager to win the gold and ended up taking the entire championship that year and repeating the next one.

Built to win, the C8.R comes with a 5.5 -liter V8 engine (mounted in the middle, of course) that produces 500 horsepower- 480 pound-feet of torque. Take this car around Mexico’s and hang more medals around its mirrors

2018 Mercedes-AMG GT3

Mercedes-AMG came up with a surprise for those who thought the limit was reached with the AMG GT: the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT3, a bigger, stronger, and faster car upgraded for racing performance.

From the sheer looks of its front, you already know this ride is dangerously fast. Its enhanced version of the 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine that you can find in an SLS AMG 63 shoots up the car from 0-100 kmh in just 3 seconds.

An engine fitted low for balance and handling, electronic assistance controls for precision, and the appearance of a champion, the Mercedes-AMG GT3 is in it to win it all.

2020 Lexus #14 VASSER SULLIVAN RC F GT3

After scoring VASSER SULLIVAN’s and Lexus’ first victory at 12 Hours of Sebring 2024 in which the pilot Jack Hawksworth secured pole position with this car, the 2020 Lexus #14 VASSER SULLIVAN RC F GT3 is still hungry for more wins.

To secure this and many more trophies, the RC was fitted with a 5.4-liter V8 engine that produces around 500 bhp inside of a lightweight chassis and a body built with carbon fiber. This equation results in a GT3 car that can reach 100 kmh in just 3 seconds.

2019 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 488 GTE

Few car makers have as rich of a racing history as Ferrari, the famous winners of multiple endurance racing events come back with a win taking the 24 Hours of Daytona with one of their best machines: the 2019 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 488 GTE.

The 488 GTE was built with a 3.9-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine that produced over 600 horsepower and gave the car 538 lb-ft of torque. Its body, made from aluminum and carbon fiber provides a rigid but light structure to ensure every single one of those 600 bhp is put to good use.

Excelling on grip, speed, pedigree, and so much more, 2019 Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione 488 GTE is waiting to take home new accolades in the Horizon Festival.

2018 Porsche 911 GT3 R

The 911 bloodline got a new heir thirsty to get set and go around the track. The 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 R is everything that makes the 911 line so legendary and a little bit more.

Powered by a new naturally aspirated 4.0-liter straight-six engine reworked to include a new crankshaft, intake manifold, and valvetrain; the GT3 R’s response and torque output is almost unmatched.

Even though this car only packs 500 bhp, the engine’s response, body panels, aerodynamics, and gearbox make this car accelerate like the greatest competitor’s you have ever seen.

What’s Next.

A wave from the past floods the Horizon Festival.

Next series will see a new Radio Station come to the Horizon Festival and new EventLab props will be available along with highway decorations.

Join us when Horizon Retrowave arrives on May 23rd.
