Gaming news from Steam - steampowered.com:

We’ve received multiple reports regarding VRAM errors with high-end Nvidia GPUs. Our engineers with the help of the community have pinpointed the issue to a recent report on CPU instability causing problems such as "stability issues/out of video memory error messages/crash to desktop while the game is compiling shaders" with Intel CPUs of 13th and 14th gen.

We’re inviting you to read the report on this issue here - https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/nvidia-blames-intel-for-gpu-vram-errors-tells-geforce-gamers-experiencing-13th-or-14th-gen-cpu-instability-to-contact-intel-support

As outlined in the report, Intel is aware of the issue and is currently working on a solution. Contacting Intel Customer Support is preferable in this case, as they should be able to assist in solving it for you. We’ve also reached out to Intel to gather more information on the matter.

For advanced users, you may find steps to solving this issue yourselves in the same report. We must warn you that attempting to fix it personally may be dangerous without sufficient knowledge of modifying BIOS settings.

Regarding DirectX 12 error
Some of you have reported an error that reads “DirectX 12 is not supported on your system”. We advise you to compare your GPU to the minimum requirements listed on our Steam page, which are NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB / AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB.

If your system does match or exceeds these requirements, please update your Windows and GPU drivers to the latest version.

If after these steps you’re still experiencing issues, please report them in one of the links below
