The New World MMO from Amazon Games is due to release 31st August 2021. The game has been delayed due to Covid and is currently going through Alpha and Beta stages.

The MMO is going to be free to play after buying the base game and it will apparently feature a "none-pay-to-win" in-game shop. Rumours are circling however that pay-to-win items will come to the New World in-game shop in the not too distant future.
The cash shop has caused some anger amongst the New World community and an example can be seen in the following video:
